Remote Learning
at Your School

How Will Students Learn Remotely?

All SEZP schools will engage in several mathematics, English Language Arts (ELA), science, and humanities (social studies) lessons and explorations each week. Students will participate in small groups and individual conferences each day with their teachers to help them navigate these lessons and explorations. Additionally, SEZP educators will provide support for students and their families around social and emotional needs during this difficult time. Together, families and schools will advance the learning for all students to ensure equitable opportunities now and in the coming year.

Step 1: Connect With Your Primary Person

Your Primary Person will contact you regularly to check in on any needs you have, including computer or WiFi access, academic questions, requests for support around basic needs, or any other concerns you or your family might have. See a sample of how one of our schools is explaining the Primary Person model to students and families.

Step 3: Work in Your Small Groups

Don't worry if you have trouble completing your lessons or want to work together with peers and your teachers. Your daily small-group meetings and office hours with teachers will provide additional support.
